Hue are lights? Do you mean the old Philips universal remote?

Its a bit old with no Dolby Vision pass through and I think its HDMI is v2.0 as well sadly.

Yeah I liked the idea but Dolby vision is so good.

The “official” Black Friday is here.

Anyone pulled the trigger on anything yet?

Costco have slightly tempted me with this

Not yet! But I will be pulling the trigger on a Vodafone SIM-only deal once I’ve figured out which the best option for me is, as they’re pretty much all cheaper than what my contract will be if I let it roll over another month as the bonuses have expired (yes, my last contract was indeed a Black Friday deal as well. And the one before that. And possibly the one before that too…)

Other than the airfryer from Ninja, we’re stocking up on Yoto stories since they’re 20% off. Plus getting a new Yoto player for our youngest for their Birthday early next year.

Anybody seen any reasonable Garmin watch deals? Looking for a Forerunner 955, best price is £360

Oh, and I’m stocking up on my usual liquid and disposables as they have 20% off everything.

Thanks! I’ve tried this code already and it doesn’t seem to work :frowning:

Use code OATMILK but that only gives 5%

No joy either but thanks very much

Appliance house has it for £339, could be what I go for!

Been waiting for a while for this box to be updated to work with Smart TVs, they still haven’t updated to it, the only thing stopping me from getting it and setting up a light system around the TV to create that home cinema experience

What you are asking for is not possible, it uses the HDMI inputs to get the RGB colours for the hue lights, the smart TV doesn’t output the picture to anything apart from itself so it’s impossible for the sync box to get the colours. It’s never going to happen so your be waiting years or you by an ambilight TV instead.

Christmas shopping. DONE!

Now I just need to wrap it all

When we ordered from here, we got a partial refund for one of the stories being out of stock. My parcel arrived today and it was included.

So combined with the black friday discount, that was a double win for us :boom:

Not even started yet, or given a thought to starting yet. Just not in the Xmas spirit, I guess :man_shrugging:
