Sadly this was raised when the feature was in labs and was never changed. Iām hoping the imminent cancel feature allows the transaction to be re-split or added to a shared tab but Iām not holding my breathe.
It would be good if we could add tag to payments so that itās clear to see who paid, regardless of Monzo account (ie. If someone does a simple bank transfer).
Otherwise, when categorising items that are part of a set budget, it would be good if the balace could get updated (ie. Incoming money balancing the expenses), as a work around to my previous poit, if not feasible.
Lastly, itād be useful to have the ability to amend āfriend 1ā etc to actual names, for tracking purposes.
Thanks for listening/reading
The ability to add notes & tags to transfers (bank and Monzo-to-Monzo) is currently limited to Android. If this is what youāre talking about, you can vote for it here:

Love the bill split feature and have used it a lot. So pleased it now works better (not perfectly) with joint accounts
Just a query, I sent two bill splits last week and the person hasnāt paid yet. Will monzo nag them about it and if so, how often?
Thatās frustrating. Seems there is much more to the Android app then. Do you have settings to turn these notifications off? Donāt think Iāll be sending any more requests if not.
Nope canāt see anything. When I got the notification I found it super useful, not sure why you wouldnāt want it? If youāre requesting a bill split with another Monzo user why wouldnāt you want to remind them about it if they havenāt paid a week later? I have an outstanding one my GF hasnāt paid from over a month ago so I presume it doesnāt send more than the one notification!

You hope
But this raises a bigger issue about lack of clarity on this feature. Bill splitting is central to the Monzo offering at the moment and some clarity on this would be great.

I have added this as an idea to gain some traction / clarity on this as couldnāt see anything on here about it other than this thread.
