No - only a very specific group of transactions from last week are impacted. These are all gambling withdrawals within a certain time frame.

Is it acceptable that it takes you this long to sort it out? What will mastercard do for customers affected by this? If I miss payments I pay penalties can we expect mastercard to pay penalties to us?

I am an investor in tech and work within financial services so please don’t tell people that if a number of withdrawals between the 10th and 17th have been affected…that a week later none of the parties involved know why this happened & what has been done to resolve the issue.
Monzo are a 2bn valued bank, MasterCard are circa 14bn, betfair 2bn etc

We don’t think it’s just monzo, but it’s definitely mastercard who gave us mastercard? So who should we talk to?
They do know, it’s just that the people who can fix it don’t care.
As the people who can fix it don’t have to take the direct flack from the general public.
To them it’s just a random load of numbers floating around, where as to us it’s it has direct consequences.
Really it should be the betting sites as it’s their suppliers that haven’t re-processed the payments but it sounds like the betting site support staff don’t know enough about what’s going on the be of any help

Are there any accounts that aren’t MasterCard which have been affected? Starling and Monzo both MasterCard. Any others?
Do betfair and betfred and the other bookies all use the same intermediary for processing payments?
This has to be an AIB or MasterCard issue right?
But regardless - companies the size of Monzo will have definitely found out what the problem is by now but aren’t able to share it for one reason or another.
