Bank transfer with flex

Hi all, just like to ask if bank transfer using flex is possible? Haven’t found anything on help articles. I’m paying for delivery for sofa and want to transfer funds over to driver.

Is this possible?

No.

@Revels beat me to it. I would’ve got there sooner, but it took 30 seconds to find the answer on google

No, it’s not possible, why would they allow that? you can’t transfer off a credit card

If it acted like a money transfer credit card it does exactly what the OP wants where you transfer off the credit card into your account.

You would need the transaction with Monzo to be able to flex it though, rather than creating a debt of x for an external payment which i think you’re wanting.

You can also Flex debit card transactions with Monzo, it’s not just for ‘credit card’ transactions.

You absolutely can from some.

Monzo doesn’t allow it, but it isn’t an unreasonable question to ask.

The only way in reality you could do this is to Flex some purchases made by debit card over the last two weeks and then send those funds to the delivery man.

This is off topic but I’ve noticed it a lot more recently how some responses seem to carry a little hostility with them… “it took 30 seconds to google the answer”

Can we not just be a little more considerate when replying to other customers who may not use the Discourse as often so aren’t as familiar with the regulars…

I think in this particular case it means that someone was Googling the answer for the OP - that is being helpful for them, not telling them to Google.

The topic title into google would have solved the issue. I could have said “Google it” or just “No” but I found the link for them.

Notice it wasn’t you I quoted Mr Revels

I wrote that but you didn’t include the full quote which would’ve put it into context. I guess it didn’t fit your agenda though  I wasn’t aiming to be hostile, I didn’t know the answer, so googled it, with the aim to post in here. But it took 30 seconds and @Revels had responded by then…

There’s also a reason I didn’t quote you word for word and that reason is the one Rob pointed out, but its still very much true that this Discourse isn’t the most welcoming of places sometimes due to how people’s responses (often the regulars, I’m also guilty of it) come across.

This is the softest forum to ever exist. If you think this place is hostile then you’ve never ventured far online!

It’s not.

Hi all and thank you for all replies. Indeed Google is our friend in most instances, but I’d rather racks some fellow Monzos.
It all sorted as had enough elsewhere. Since flex is my 1st ever credit card…Wanted to make sure.

There are softer places too where you can be a troll or just generally an idiot but if someone dares call you out they get a telling off. Not that any of that is the case here but just wanted to illustrate it. You know what place I’m taking about

Hope you’re enjoying the ease of it!
