Balance view - white graph on white background

Issue:
The graph showing the balance is white, the background is white. Is unusable

Details to reproduce:
OS: iOS
Device: iPhone 15 Pro
App Version: 6.16.0

Uninstall the app. Restart your device. Reinstall.

But only joint account - white lin

Hi @parodia & welcome

The line colour in Trends:Balance and Trends:Spending reflects the account’s card colour, unless you view multiple accounts in which case a blue colour is used for the line. The line colour in Trends:Target is always blue.
From your report, you must have a white Joint account card - hence a white line (which is actually a faint grey line)

How to ‘fix’? - Change the app theme to ‘Dark’

Boggles my mind that this has been an issue since before I reported it in July 2023. To get around it I have a pot selected and it makes the graph line blue.

At least back then you could see a faint grey line, now it’s just pure white :man_facepalming:

I appreciate that’s a fix, but it shouldn’t be the fix.

Totally agree. It needs fixing properly, as per @Liamk 's report at the point where the white card launched. Until then (:soon:) the light/dark mode switch helps reveal the white line.

  • Trends (with account card colour-matched line graph / bar graph feature) introduced in Dec-2022
  • White Joint account card introduced in Jul-2023

Someone @ :monzo: clearly forgot about the existing colour-matching when the white card launched.
