Joint account balance unreadable

Issue: on the home page of the app the joint account balance is unbearable (white font on a white card background). I have tried changing my theme from dark to light to device theme, and tried toggling high contrast, to no avail.

Details to reproduce: joint account balance is white font on white card background so unreadable.
OS: android
Device: redmi note 8
App Version: 5.87.0

Tried deleting the app, restarting your device and then reinstalling?

Usually fixes many bugs.

That sounds really frustrating, especially when something simple like reading your balance is affected. It’s strange that changing the themes and turning on high contrast didn’t solve it. It looks like there is a problem that we need to fix fast. I hope the support team contacts you soon to resolve it quickly.

I’m not seeing the same issue at my end.

No luck with reinstalling the app. The same problem persists.

I have the same problem. Very frustrating. Android Xiaomi Poco F1.

The important part is rebooting your device after uninstalling the Monzo app. Then after a restart, install the Monzo app & login & check it.

The only common thing between the 2 reports seems to be that ‘off-piste’ Android devices are being used, probably with their own forked version of Android. I can’t test either unfortunately so I can’t help pinpoint where the error may be. Can you change the phone theming/colours/display size/font to see if it changes?
