Understandable. And I know nothing about tech or coding. That being said, companies such as Xero have made it work as I understand it.

Keen to see PDF receipts as an option.

I would say the ability to add PDF and email receipts is essential: 95% of my receipts are digital. Perhaps a few trades out there might still handle old skool receipts, but I imagine most customers using a new-gen bank like monzo would be mostly digital.
Could anyone else back this up with an estimate of their digital/paper receipts ratio perhaps?
p.s. I appreciate you could screengrab in theory but this doesn’t work for email receipts, receipts with long itineraries or multi-page documents.

Regardless - most of my receipts live in my email, not my banking app. I have other, non-Monzo accounts too, so I need to account for them also. Now then… Open Banking implementation of e-receipt storage against transaction in each OB connected account? Yes please
