Am I the only one who saw the new Explore tab and thought that was the search button? I’d consider an alternative icon tbh.

I am so ready for universal search!! I can never find things that I paid for using flex and this would help.

I agree, you can’t use the magnifying glass to mean search and explore. That’s going to create head scratching.
Explore should be a compass or a globe or something different altogether
Search is at the top of the Activity section now, although I don’t know what that means about the 3-dots to edit the activity, maybe they’ve moved somewhere else??
Signed up to test, think on the whole this seems like a good approach. Agree above though that the magnifying glass, to me, suggests you’d be going straight into search, and doesn’t necessarily work alongside the explore title.
A compass might work, or even changing it to something like “more” and a plus logo, or the Monzo logo? Something to suggest there are other things to see/do/get with Monzo, that doesn’t use one of you (many) paid offering brandings from over the years - plus, extra, etc.

Looking forward to trying this, but even before I get it, I don’t like the prominent “Upgrade” button top left.
Some good ideas in there generally though I think. 
Hopefully the search function will be more consistent …….
Sometimes I search for #phrase ant it lists everything matching, other times it reverses to phrase # and misses items in search?
