App asking for PIN?

Hi all,

When I opened my app as usual, it asked me to type in my PIN (it looked like it was in order to gain access to the app). Once I typed it in, everything is a normal but I’m worried as I’ve never been asked to do that before in my two years with Monzo? Anyone else had this?

I’ve tried contacting Monzo but got hung up on on the phone. Was going to change my PIN but there are no bank ATM’s that I can access quickly enough if it indeed is a scam/app hack.

This is normal, it’s a feature Monzo added to comply with Strong Customer Authentication regulations.
