An easier way to add money to your account [fully launched]

You can access this screen by going to the card for the account “…” > Manage > Limits > Pre-approved Transfers

Thanks! Although I must say I found it impossible to find on my own and even with your instructions it’s buried deep within the app. Would be good to increase visibility somehow…

I found a pretty serious bug with this which made me go overdrawn on my Nationwide account: Transfers within limits are transferring from wrong external account so I’d like to revoke the limits but I still can’t find how to do this? I go to the card, press the three dots, but I only get Refresh/Share/Remove options. The Details link gives me a ‘Manage account’ but no Limits section.

My guess.is you need to revoke permissions in the connected account (Nationwide)app. I’m sure I did that with First Direct…

Hi,

You can manage pre-approved transfers under Manage Account > Limits & Controls > Pre-approved transfers. You can revoke the limits there.

You should also be able to revoke these limits from your bank.

Thanks Henry. I’d already followed the previous post and went into the Nationwide app and revoked the VRP - Payment Permission from there, as the only connection I could see apart from the main 2x account connections set up in Monzo.

Unfortunately this has completely broken the ability to initiate moving money from Nationwide into Monzo from the Monzo app and I have an open support request for someone to look into it.

I found the right setting you suggested in the Monzo app (I was previously looking within the Nationwide card not the Monzo card on the Home screen) and removed the limit for Nationwide there, but I now get a different type of error, but still not working!

I’ve already tried disconnecting/reconnecting Nationwide, and reinstalling the Monzo app, so I think I broke it :frowning:
