Usually if I cancel an order soon after placing it I get an instant refund However this item I cancelled after it had been dispatched but the cancellation has been confirmed Says 3-5 days until the refund is processed , how long is it in reality for you guys ?

Technically, it could be up to 30 business days. Factually, Amazon state refunds to cards are between 5 to 7 business days. Generally, it is 3 to 5 business days.

If it’s not been dispatched and it’s before the day it’s normally instant for me apart from once it took over a month

I received refund next day. Few times I returned my orders with free collection from home. Once delivery driver scanned returns - instant refund. They don’t even check what is inside

Issuing a refund instantly is one thing, many times I posted a return that has happened. The refund entering your bank account isn’t instant.
