helps a lot with larger phones meaning we don’t have to pull them down to tap the icons.
Perhaps this could be a toggleable option?

You can double tap the home button on an iPhone in order to reach the buttons higher on the screen.
Which pages are not having this option causing an issue with?
Totally agree. Scrolling between sections would be great.
To get to what though?
As in from Monzo Home, swipe to the left anywhere to get to “Spending” then “Card” and so on. A nice alternative to selecting icons.
The icons are at the bottom of the app window (in easy reach) though.
As a general rule, I suspect you want to reserve actions like that until they have a dedicated purpose but I could be wrong.
In the meantime, it doesn’t seem like there’s a lot of friction here
Easy reach yes - but because swiping between screens has become second nature in so many apps, it feels missing here.
I would also assume swiping will be preserved for something more ‘useful’ - but would still be a nice-to-have.
The only real friction was in the early days where the keyboard would obscure the Tab Bar when you pressed ‘Send Money’ by mistake. Thankfully long gone.
I agree, it would be nice to have.
A look forward view of items due to come out of the account in the next few days? Direct debits to be collected tomorrow and future payments.
On Android swipe right produces the menu so would need to be swipe left for upcoming items.
I guess Hugo’s just addressed this here -
