Accessible Debit Cards

I just got sent a replacement card for my NatWest account and it had raised dots and a notch cut into the side of it. I’m not sure if they are now sent out as standard but I didn’t request it, however I imagine it must be very useful for those with impairments.

Do Monzo offer these? And if so would it not be a good idea to send them out as standard rather than have someone request it? What other accommodations are/could monzo make for people with impairments?

What are the raised dots near or what do you think they translate?

Can visually impaired people not read the raised numbers?

Monzo Joint account card has 2 raised dots under the cardholder’s name.
Personal doesn’t.

Easy to differentiate (even when both are Hot Coral) once you know.

According to the leaflet they are there to help people tell it’s their debit card and the notch is there so you know which way to insert it into a card reader or cash machine.

The card is also unembossed in a larger font to make it easier for you to read.
