I feel like they should have held back on this update until the rest of the UI redesign was done ![]()
Yeah, have to agree, it’s a nice start though. It also looks much better in dark mode.
The account card looks bad IMO
I don’t like it! It now takes 2 clicks to see my savings balance, rather than it being on an overview/Home Screen
It’s as if they want me to use them as a bank account or something
Is it for something else? I may be missing something. That’s what they all want if I am not mistaken
They probably do but it’s not gonna happen, I am #fullmonzo
Once their DD bribe ends, they won’t see me there again.
And I. I like the Biscuit branding but with this app and too much cross-selling, I might very well move things back to Starling.
How are they doing this? May be check your marketing preferences.
I honestly don’t notice this as I don’t get emails, or letters about their other products or it could be my ad blockers working.
Only in broad terms for all their products - Zopa Bank delivers £65 million profit in 2025 - Zopa
In the app. Borrowing is everywhere because their lending business started earlier than their banking effort.
I don’t want their credit card - it’s not a rewards card. I don’t want their loans, under 10k they’re pretty much at credit card rate.
New app update also pushes their investment/ISAs very hard. Borrowing has an entire tab dedicated to it, as well. I want a user toggle, but there is none.

I only see this under the borrow tab, which I never check anyway.
investment/ISAs very hard.
These I also only see under that specific tab.
I am on the new app.
Even before it wasn’t a bother as I only looked on my balance.
No pop ups, no push notifications about those other things. At least Revolut has a dedicated section for their junk with a Red dot to tell you there’s a notification only to see their junk.
About a week after my 7.1% pot reverted to a normal pot the offer reappeared, so I have another 7.1% pot now.
But you have to start adding money from scratch monthly again, no? So takes a while to build up the pot to anything substantial and earn the interest.
Closed my zopa now in an attempt to simplify my banking and just not worth keeping the regular saver going for me.
You do, yes. But 7.1% of £300 is better than 3% elsewhere. (I’ve got the rest in LHV at 4+%)

You can put the lumpsum in the 3% to drip feed into the regular saver monthly. You benefit from both worlds.
Saga are currently doing an easy access account at 4.5% for a year. Time to shuffle funds over from zopa.
Cahoot is offering 4.52% instant access savings.
I’m currently still on 4.45% with Zopa until October, and 7.1% regular saver matures this month.
Which offer did you get for the new one? Looking on the website I noticed it says “Deposit up to £300 a month for 6 months” so it looks like they’ve shortened it from 12 months.
