Has anyone else noticed this seems to have come up as a hard search on their Experian report? I’ve contacted them today and they’ve said they’ll remove it.
I hadn’t noticed but just checked and it is showing as a hard search on mine as well. Did you contact Experian or Zilch to ask for it to be removed?
Yep it’s a soft search on Equifax for me too.
From what I understand it isn’t necessarily the type of search that makes it a hard search, it’s the information requested that does. Best to chase imo.
I contacted Zilch through their live chat. I’ll contact Experian next month if it’s not gone by then.
I’ve just closed my account.

Has anyone managed to get this removed? My last email to them chasing what was going on hasn’t been replied to in over a week.
I am still waiting - contacted Experian directly as well.
