Does accepting my wage going into my account a day early have any impact on my credit rating. It appears to have gone down 10 points from last month saying that ive used extra funding to top up my account.
Receiving money doesn’t affect your credit score. It will be something else, like credit utilisation, but without seeing your report we can’t really help.
I wouldn’t worry about the score too much. Just focus on making payments on time and not using too much of the credit you have available to you (under 35%) also try not to use your overdraft and apply for credit.
This is interesting. Which credit report are you using, and where does it say that you’ve used extra funding? Also, were you in overdraft at the time the salary came through early?
