It would be very useful when withdrawing from a 24hr savings account, to be able to have it paid directly to a pot when it arrives the next day, particularly when scheduling money into bills / virtual card pots as opposed to only being able to have it credited to the current account.
Itâs doable. The annoying part there is trying to coordinate that with possible bank holiday permutations and combinations to be assured the money was there in time.
Sadly you canât schedule withdrawals from the instant access, or have more than one instant access pot, but yet you can schedule the non Monzo ones, just not to a pot
I donât fully understand your response. My ideal would be able to properly schedule the movement of money. My issue is there is something in the way of that regardless of what savings pots you use. Easy access has no scheduling capability and 24 Hr doesnât allow you to pay it directly to a pot, save having it scheduled to the current account, then trying to figure out an appropriate number of days to accommodate for weekends and bank holidays followed by another schedule to move it to a pot, that may, or may not work depending on how it hits on the calendar.
I know what youâre asking for, itâs been asked for a lot in multiple threads and doesnât seem to be coming anytime soon. I was giving you a faster solution in the middle.
Currently⊠Press withdraw from pot, wait 24 hours, then move it.
If you use an instant access pot, withdraw from pot, move it right away.
It might be a lower rate % but if youâre moving it back and forth to pay bills then itâll be pennies anyway.
And doing it manually. Iâm perfectly aware how it can be achieved, my suggestion is allowing it to be achieved via scheduling. Thatâs it tâs a suggestion mate. Youâre also making assumptions about what money Iâm moving. This isnât about a ÂŁ20 mobile bill and the council tax
The new update for pot to pot transfers was great. It would be even better if this included the savings pots as I am still having to do the 2 actions to move money between them (withdrawal from savings to main account, transfer to savings pot once the savings amount is released).
