Wise Chat

The card has worked at an ATM and Sainsbury’s. Let this Sainsbury’s sells alcohol, cigarettes, knives, gas lighters, and other age restricted items.
Machine prompted me to enter PIN which was not happening at Lidl and Farm Foods.
Notification from Wise about the transaction also came immediately.

I think it could be something to do with BIN

AI flags again?

The last 3 letters of wastebin trigger it I think.

Or another troll on the loose for them being upset about themselves on the other discord :joy:

Can troll flag? I thought a certain level is required from looking on the badges, for example you’re a regular up to your level it’s very limited what trolls can do especially if they’re a new account. If not that’s a loophole that needs to be closed or discord and this forum linked somehow so admins can track behind the scenes so when someone’s booted from the discord they’re also silently banned from here

AI? I hope AI isn’t behind the flagging although would make sense for the fact h**k got me muted twice :joy:

Has to be AI or a trigger happy Monzo employee who hates me and Carlos :joy:

They can, and it’s likely an account that’s been quiet in the background as they’ve nothing else to do in their own insecure life :joy:

It’ll pass.

@AlanDoe possible to take a look :folded_hands:t3:

If it’s a person behind it yeah that’s an all time low just flagging people randomly

I was actually booted from Discord silently, I don’t know why.

Yeah then my idea would be not great if that’s happening

Felt like a person because the bot would’ve done it immediately, but these seem timed apart so who knows.

Anyway, the issue is the card BIN RE the above.

Yes 100% BIN based I tried the BIN on a BIN checker online and it comes back correctly so must be a merchant issue as you said before

Discord and this forum are unrelated.

Transferred £40 to Wise, just noticed a return option. Is it new, or I missed it  ?

That’s pretty good. Can you edit the amount? Could be useful if you can, ie returning a loan.

Revolut have a similar thing I believe whenever a new transaction comes in, if you don’t recognize it if you hit I have an issue and it will presents an option to return the funds to sender without fees. Revolut basically waive their own fees the only exception is if it’s an international transfer in which case again Revolut waive their fees but an intermediary bank could still take it’s usual fees meaning the person getting the money back will get slightly less to cover intermediary fees.

Not at the moment.

I have tried the kids card at Lidl again today, it worked with no issues.
So I guess @Carlo1460 was right about the BIN and their processor not having been updated.

Just added a referral code to the wiki. I wanted to rename the heading to ‘Wise’ but wasn’t then sure how to put it in the right place alphabetically :expressionless_face:
