Why doesn't the Monzo app look more like the Monzo card

I was wondering the other day why the card doesn’t feature the logo in colour and more prominently.

I like the app logo how it is now and the app is on the first page of my phone , if it was to go the same colour as the card I would put it in folder on the 3rd page.

The App logo looks amazing in my opinion. Great choice of colour + having 4 colours allows for some wiggle room on future branding.

I like app logo, I have blue-toned wallpaper on my phone with Witcher swords (just trimmed a bit to only feature swords on the right side of the screen) and Monzo app blends really well, when it was shown Pixel launcher bottom navbar. Unfortunately, next to it is green Whatsapp logo and it’s just painful to watch.

Agreed! It’s a good opportunity to reflect the logo colours on future card designs. I like it
