Which loyalty cards do you have added to Apple Wallet?

Do people keep all their cards in Apple Wallet just because or are they genuinely all in use.

I must have 20+ cards from various account, but I have 5 on my phone that I actually use.

I add to try them out (nerdy I know) but I’m due to remove most of them and just stick to one or two.

I generally add new cards when I get them, but have a clear out now and again! One credit and one debit enough probably.

Is there a limit to the number of cards allowed in Wallet?

To be honest I didn’t know it is possible to store loyalty cards in Wallet either.

Think it depends on which model you have as to the limit think it’s 15 for n newer ones

i think that’s 8 bank cards, Apple don’t seen to class a “loyalty card” as a card since its added through the businesses native app rather than through the Wallet

That’s for Apple Pay payment cards (debit/credit) not loyalty cards, and the number of payment cards I believe varies by phone model. 8 feels outdated to me, but I don’t know what the limit is on newer phones. @SebH sure does though I think! No idea if the new Apple Account Card contributes to this or if it’s still treated like a pass.

As for loyalty cards, no limit AFAIK.

I have 10 debit cards on my Apple Pay, and 3 loyalty passes.

My Lloyds card came today so I’ll see if I can go further, and maybe create some virtual cards and see

I’ve got a lot going on in my wallet. I split my time between the US and Canada, though, so I’ve got a slightly different assortment:

I do indeed!

The limit is now 16 on A11 devices or newer running iOS 15 or above (and T2 chips or newer on Macs).

Using Stocard app which has now just been bought out by Klarna you can use pretty much any card on Apple wallet just add to Stocard and then upload to Apple wallet I have my library card, wickes, tk max, basically anything I cannot to get onto my Apple wallet I add to Stocard app and add to Apple wallet from there

That revolut virtual card looks very monzo lol

The trouble with Stocard is that every card appears with a standard “Stocard” top-line branding and also every Stocard card shows in a single stack, even if they are totally unrelated.

This makes it very difficult to swipe though many Stocard cards to select the correct one, and really limits usefulness.

the app can use your location to bring the relevant card for the store you’re in to the front, or even suggest it on the lock screen - i still don’t like the current style tho

I know, but it doesn’t work 100% of the time and, if it doesn’t, it is then very clunky to get up the card you want.

Location also cannot be the trigger all the time, because you may be shopping online (for example) and need your details for that.
