I’m really missing that (on Android at least) you don’t have the account balance on the screen when you move the feed up.
I think the Accounts/Show All and Profile buttons are round the wrong way. I use the Accounts one frequently and now it’s too far away for me to tap with my thumb. The Profile one, however, I can - but I hardly use that.

If it’s a case of seeing how the sign ups/initial use differs - Then I agree it’s useful.
But if new user doesn’t use X, because it’s now hidden away for example, that’s not helpful - Especially if Monzo act on that info (as I explained earlier).
Anyway, seem to be side tracked from the task at hand (those were all just my thoughts out loud )
Weird - It’s on iOS, would have thought it would be fairly standard to have that on Android?
I wanna try this out, but just wanna know - if you click the Summary widget (on iOS), does it take you to a separate Summary page? Or is that widget all that’s available?

For now it takes you to the summary section (that you currently use the tab at the bottom to access), but that may change.
Haven’t read the whole thread so apologies if someone has already mentioned this!
Really enjoying the new UI, it’s much easier to navigate and looks much cleaner.
Personally there isn’t anything missing in this new UI that I used in the old one.
The only thing I would personally change is how you view pots and connected credit cards, I feel like this would flow much better if, when you scroll down from the main screen to view your card you could then swipe left or right to see your connected credit cards and pots, this would save having to click that extra button that’s really far up the top of the screen (on a bigger phone) and I think would just make life a bit quicker and easier!
I think it’s personally for account notifications - new features/offers, instead of things that have happened with your money - ie interest/overdraft payments etc.
I think that’s the plan. The Open Office last night showed a few mock ups for the swiping of the top card area to move between connected current/credit cards. I like that idea - but feel that pots should exist somewhere else. Otherwise we return to having to swipe between loads of pots again, like on previous iOS versions.
Maybe swipe left for connected cards/accounts and right for a list of pots?
Here’s some screenshots pulled from the livestream:
I don’t know if anyone has mentioned the following bug above (because I can’t read through 1,000+ posts!), but here it is:
On the iOS app (TestFlight 2.45.0 #522, iPhone SE), the main balance takes a long time to update, and remains inaccurate even when the feed says Updated a few seconds ago. You can see this when scrolling back in the feed: the proper balance is displayed in smaller numbers at the top of the screen.
I managed to screenshot the discrepancy by then dragging to the top of the feed: there is a state where the balance is displayed both in the top row (small numbers, correct balance) and directly above the card (large numbers, incorrect balance). In the following screenshot, £26·50 is the correct balance:
The big number above the card eventually updates to the correct balance, but it took a minute or so. And it is misleading because during the time that it hasn’t updated, the feed says that everything was updated “a few seconds ago”.
Something not straightforward to me is having the committed spending list starting with the last payment of the month instead of the closest. Did anyone report this already?
(Very) early on in the month, it’s useful, because it takes into account some big, regular outgoings - rent, credit card, etc.
But beyond a week or two into the month, it’s pretty much useless. I have various non discretionary purchases to make that will eat up a large part of what’s left, but they’re not included in this figure (fuel, groceries, etc).
The more interesting figure is the “you’re set to have £x left over” but, sadly, it doesn’t seem terribly accurate. For me, at least, it seems to get confused by the large amounts coming out just after payday (rent, credit card).
On the plus side, it is very handy being able to see how long I need to wait until my next payday.
