We're working on a new look for the Monzo app

You’ll have the new budgeting widget on the Home screen that also gives you access to the standard version of Summary. On iOS and Android it’s in version 2.45, should be live early next week. It’s just that Android Beta is already out.

To be clear - We’re still figuring out what budgeting looks like in this new navigation. Tapping the budgeting widget to access the standard Summary is a middle step so that we don’t leave anyone budget-less while we work on this.

Wooooo - that’s a perfect solution for the time being!

Glad that it’s a fairly quick turn around as well. Thanks!

Fair enough. For the “latest official” screenshots your best bet is possibly checking the App/Play Store listing :+1:

That’s a good idea - thanks.

Would PDFs or blog posts of different versions of the app that were released be something Monzo would publish to the public. Like if we wanted to see what Monzo looked like 9 months ago we could check out the resource at like a pretty high level view. As I imagine there are many pages/screens that only a few people would actually see/use.

It would be really difficult to produce something like this. Keep in mind there’s an app release every week, lots of parallel experiments, and different feature flags, it would be difficult to know what the app looked like 9 months ago.

Just been upgraded to new app version - how do you swap between joint and personal as it’s stuck on joint account view only

While we are waiting for access to summary to return is there a deeplink we can use to get to it directly? Maybe one for @nexusmaniac as I’m sure it will be OS agnostic if it is possible

Just a minor observation in the grand scheme of things, but I see that the Profile screen is totally unchanged (which is fine), but that means the Settings screen is still accessed from there

Would be much more preferable from my point of view to get to Settings directly, or at least not via Profile where I would not expect it to be

Delay to pots updating is back again

So will we be able to adjust our pay period to the last Friday of each month as currently we can’t?

Quick question for anyone who might know. Can you turn off the budget thing? I’ve always had to ignore it due to anxiety but if it’s on the home page it might be hard.

Ditto this ^. If you turn off budgets it’s still there telling you stuff you might not care about and taking up room. Would like a “Budgeting begone” setting

So I’m on 2.45.0 beta and have submitted the form to get the new look and I’m still not seeing it?

Anything as that needs to be done? (Android)

When did you submit the form?

Is the new look only compatible with android?
I have the new look and it’s stuck on joint account I can’t switch accounts

Might just be a case that they need to get to it. They have worked through the ones from the first batch

Hey, will the next update fix the pot balance bug, the disappearing Investec info on select pots (interest not showing), visibility of overdraft and savings accounts options to the joint account? I know our money is safe but it’s just makes my anxiety levels slightly raised  Other bugs I can handle but these ones are pretty high level imo. Cheers

Edit. iOS 12.2 Xs Max

It was a no. But I’m sure if we ask/complain they would listen to us.

Heya @Frankiejr

It’s not clickable on Discourse (yet :eyes:) but monzo://breakdown should work for you  I believe it’s completely OS agnostic :raised_hands:

But once Summary / Breakdown is stripped from the app (at some point in the future), that link will no longer work :see_no_evil: - however, in the meantime, enjoy  (let me know if it works for you hehe :yum:)
