I’m not asking you to spoil the surprise, but since you seemed to have live data, do you now know who’s won / where you placed? :eyes:

Hey @Peter_G - really sorry that I missed your message until now…

Based on the votes before the deadline, we are hopeful we will get some awards but don’t know how many … the awards night is tonight, so not long to wait :crossed_fingers:

I just checked my email and I cant find any trying to get me to vote for Flex so you are not alone, I have marketing guff turned on and have never contacted someone about Flex support wise and am an active user if they were seriously targetting.

Huge congrats to the team for this. The work on the app this year has been phenomenal!

That was my first thought! You can’t really beat giving people free money.

Here’s a personal challenge to the Monzo top brass:

Get nominated for this next year. Then strive to win in.

You know that customer service isn’t where it needs to be. Do something about it - make me eat my words and win some awards while you’re at it.

Again, not surprised. I have so many friends who can’t stop raving about Chase simply because of the cashback. They aren’t really fussed about anything else.

I also said no!

Chase deserve it, they’ve really come a long way over the last year.

Monzo have too, but I think 2024 will be where it’s at.

Money talks!

At least they’ve fixed the Android app. It’s usable now.

I’m not sure they do.

They’ve just thrown money at customers (unsustainable in the long term) and did a bait and switch on savings. The current rate isn’t bad, but it’s not top of the table and it’s certainly not as competitive as it was.

That aside, it’s a nice, functional classic banking app.

My DMs are always open!

(Let’s just hope that “engineering” in this context didn’t mean the results :joy:)

Well they have deep pockets. If you look at how the launch went, it wasn’t the best. It would’ve been easy to just walk away.

But they dug in, improved the app, service offering and for the short time I was with them the customer service was light years ahead of the others.

It would be the one to tempt me back to fintech, but it’s not possible.

I’m not too fussed if others had one, it’s engineered to an extent as all of these sort of things are. I’d have said that no matter who had won.
