It’s great to see that Monzo have been selected as a finalist for Best Current Account Provider at the British Bank Awards.
Voting is still open, so fellow Monzo users, why don’t we put a few votes in to see if we can get them crowned winner!

Also, if there are any staff seeing this, it would be great to see some posts on social media to drum up some votes (and highlight how well we’ve done already)!
But it’s not actually a popular vote. Otherwise it’d be a competition of who can spend the most canvassing votes.
The mechanism is a bit opaque, but as I understand it the popular vote helps up to a certain point, then it’s about the mix of ratings. That’s what I mean by “quality”.

I’m sure in the interests of fairness they also emailed the entire Monzo stole my money Facebook group, everyone who had Monzo related dealings with the FOS, everyone who’s ever used the Twitter hashtag #WhatsGoingOnzoMonzo? and anyone who’s had to endure visiting a some grim shady PayPoint outlet to try get cash into their account only to be told they aren’t allowed to take orange cards because it clashes with the yellow branding of PayPoint or some equally as unbelievable reason…
