I think we have a good idea of the kinds of questions people need more clarity on, but please let me know any suggestions about topics we should cover next
Two questions for the Monzo team - why do you report the opening of a bank account to a credit agency (are you obliged to under the banking license terms?) and of the several credit agencies in the UK why did you choose the one you work with?
I would say they are a requirement of being able to access information that the CRA hold in return, a sort of quid pro pro relationship, as well as probably being a legal requirement.
