Hi, how long does monzo retain transaction history for?
Specifically the scenario is that I had an account since 2017, but I closed it last year.
I am now opening a new account and would like to know how long the data will be retained for both for my new account, as well as my previous account?
I am very privacy orientated and this would be good to know!

Monzo Customers:
We’ll keep your information for 10 years after your account closes, in case we need to respond to a legal claim. In some circumstances, like cases of anti-money laundering or fraud, we may keep data longer if we need to (that’s in our legitimate interest) and/or the law says we have to.
Only a minimum of 9 years to go then
