Issue: Opening Trends suddenly doesn’t work. The app instead gives a “Sorry about this - something’s gone wrong, but we’re not sure what. Please try again in a few minutes” error. This has gone on for hours.

Have tried rebooting phone, uninstalling app and reinstalling and also trying a different Internet connection. None worked.

Details to reproduce: Open Trends.
OS: Android
Device: Sony Xperia 1 IV
App Version: 5.16.0

Hi @LumpyCrumpet

Welcome to the Community!

Are you still experiencing this issue? The issue should hopefully be resolved :crossed_fingers:

Just want to call out the speed of response here. I’ve had access to the “plan” feature in HSBC for over two months and it has never once worked.

Hi all  Apologies again for breaking Trends :pensive:
We released a small change which unexpectedly caused an issue on the Android app.

We’ve now re-released the change with a fix. When viewing a category feed, if you hold down on the graph, you will now see the top merchants that you spent with in that interval (similar to the main spending graph when you have the merchants view selected).

Didn’t we (Android uers) have this since release? Or is it now available per-merchant, rather than on the global graph? Or is the ‘TOP’ the new thing? Slightly confused on the break/change.

The small change is that you will now see the subtitle e.g. “TOP <merchant1_logo> <merchant1_amount> <merchant2_logo> <merchant2_amount> <merchant3_logo> <merchant3_amount>”. Previously this would have been missing when viewing the spending for an individual category.
