I have a cash ISA with Monzo (held by Monzo not a third party) and I also have a stocks and shares ISA with Monzo (held by Monzo not a third party).
I want to transfer ONLY my cash ISA to a cash ISA in Trading 212. When I go to transfer on Trading 212 Monzo shows as a supported bank to transfer from, it then asks for an account and sort code.
I have read other posts here and people suggest using your current account number and sort code as the ISA doesn’t have its own. How do I make sure that only my cash ISA is transferred and not the stocks and shares ISA?
The ISA transfer form from the destination provider (Trading212 in this case) usually has an option to specify what type of ISA you want to transfer. If it doesn’t speak with Trading212. Also consider sending a cover letter with your transfer form to clarify your instruction to Trading212.
Ahh, I went a bit farther in the transfer menus. It asks the type of ISA you are transferring from, I selected cash. Was worried about going too far earlier incase it automatically did the wrong thing. Thanks
