Yes this isnt showing on android.
Hopefully coming soon!
Still no signup option for me
Anyone been paid recently and can see if you can salary sort into your investment?
Hey everyone. Before you’ve set-up your account you can Transfer an ISA by tapping the blue ‘Transfer’ button here, underneath ‘Transparent fees’.
Or if you’ve already created an account, you can either scroll down to the bottom of the Investments tab or tap the 3 dots icon next to ‘Investment Pots’ depending on the account type you have.
Hope this helps! We have some changes coming shortly to make this clearer.
On Android I don’t have the three dots and there’s nothing at the bottom if I scroll down.
Both are there on iOS though.
The option to transfer once the pot has been opened does not show on android.
Yes, we’re working on the ability to switch funds without closing your pot - coming soon!
The update is appreciated. After years on the internet I’m ingrained to never tap on highlighted text like this as it’s usually an ad, definition of word or otherwise an unhelpful button. .
I’d have thought fees would explain what fees are, and Transfer would explain what a transfer is, not part of the process flow.
What information gets shared with blackrock when I open the pot?
Yeah, I did exactly the same. In my mind, highlighted text is information and button is action.
Hi Jay,
I’ve opened a new ISA account but I have another ISA account with Plum. I’ve just processed the transfer, is this okay from a ‘you can only have one ISA account?’
Yeah I agree, as investment and ESG are important choices for people it can never totally satisfy everyone, especially from the get-go.
Whilst a specialist ESG investment manager such as Impax could’ve been chosen instead of BlackRock, most people haven’t heard of them and starting with a name like BlackRock at least leverages off their size and reputation as a global asset manager.
The rules are actually that you can “only pay into one ISA of each type in a single tax year”, so you can have as many as you like, but I have no idea how transfers affect paying into them.
Also no option to transfer ISA on Android after creation. The suggested options don’t exist. The only option I have on the ellipses is to create a GIA
Yes, that’s fine. You can have as many S&S ISAs as you like but you can only pay into one of them each tax year. You can perform ISA transfers between them at any time, though, and it doesn’t count towards your allowance for that tax year.
No personal data is shared with BlackRock. They only see bulk orders to buy and sell units coming through to their systems from our infrastructure partner
Yup, seeing (or rather not seeing) that on Android, but thanks to @twigusa for the pointer
I like the idea of the ISA allowance bar, but as only one of my ISAs is in Monzo - it is not accurate at all. It would also be helpful to see how much I had used (without having to calculate) so that I could tally that up with my other ISA usage.
Also, with Moneybox I currently add £x every week but every 2 weeks is the most frequent option here. Not sure why?
