Can’t find account limits anymore with this new design.

Go to help, type “Account Limits,”

On the last eat test flight they’re in the manage button under the card

Same on Android; tap on ‘Manage’ under the card, scroll to the bottom and tap on ‘Spending and card limits’

Oh. In my very basic Nationwide app I can see that in a glance.
Not good enough - especially knowing how easy it was before.

I can’t find it in my Nationwide app. I’d say the Monzo app is better in this respect.

We get it. You want the graph back. You don’t have to troll every thread, you’ve made your point.

I really liked the simplicity of the old app particularly the chart (histogram?) You could use to sweep to the past and look at spending patterns. In the new app I like that sweep between accounts and pots feature at the top but I really dislike the budget setting feature next to the amount. It says you have this much left to spend , I don’t, I made the number up. It’s arbitrary and confusing. Can I turn it off or remove it please?

Yes you can turn off left to spend by switching it on in Labs. This will turn it off until further development of it occurs.

Cancel the made up budget and the left to spend figure will reflect the money in your account. (Why did you make it up if you don’t want to use it?)

The Graph
Like many others I do really miss it, but it’s obviously a thing important to some, and not others.

Thinking about how I used it, it was to look back over the last few days and see how my balance has changed. The only way I can get this overview is to download a statement.

So, if the graph isn’t coming back, would it be possible to add that day’s balance next to your daily spend total? An easy way of tracking back to see your spending.

I’m not very tech and and didn’t know how to turn it off and wanted to get rid of the Red at least - that’s why .

Okay, so I’ve used the new app for a few weeks and I’m constantly getting lost. This is my trying to share something back with the team.

In app; I find it hard to place where I am, I have two accounts and several pots in each - honestly it’s bloody confusing. Swiping in 4 different directions, and swiping in “3d” by having elements hidden behind each other? Honestly I hate it.

I’m a 35 y/o super geek and this is UI overkill.

Also, when I am lost there’s no fall back. No hamburger menu or site-tree where I can navigate safely, nope just figure it out from icons.

I think there are lots of interesting and good design choices in this app, but it’s an overwhelming change that ISNT intuitive.

I want this to be useful feedback, and I’m aware it’s not specific enough (but then again I’m doing my best with the effort I can be bothered to produce given no one is paying me) - I guess the overall statement Monzo could read into this is; I’m frustrated. I can’t specific exactly why, but I’m not having fun using the app, I’m making mistakes, getting lost, I don’t “get it” BUT I DO feel strongly enough to write this post, which means I feel strongly enough for it to impact my engagement with the app, and the brand.

Maybe I’m the minority, but hey maybe this is helpful.

You can click on your profile picture (or the placeholder with your initials on it) in the top-left corner to go to a vertical list of all your accounts/pots

I second that. Although I like the hidden feature like pressing on a pot and dragging down to zoom out and see a list of all accounts/pots, I have to admit the app seems heavy and slow and I believe it is due to the UI overkill.

I also don’t understand the introduction of horizontal ↔ lists in a phone app. Horizontal lists work very nice on tables and vertical :arrow_up_down: lists work better on phones. It is only natural based on how you hold these different sized devices. :thinking:

Remember you can easily see a list of all your pots under your personal/joint accounts by holding down on a pot and scroll down.

This update still hasn’t been rolled out to me - do I need to do something to enable it?

There is a few users still on the old layout, there’s nothing you can do to enable it, it’s a server side toggle.

Do you have a graph at the top of your account feed? If yes then you’re on the old layout.
