The Charity Pots would be great if you could push those out at the moment, alot of hospices etc are crying out for funding so any way monzo can help would be nice.

Its the same way as saying why do monzo have to get involved with savings pots when you can go direct and get better rates?
People do it because its easier when integrated into the app, one can only assume some people will donate their round ups to charity when posed with the option in app who wouldn’t have donated otherwise. Every little helps im sure

Do you have some kind of early adopters, beta tester group for those willing and wanting to be guinea pigs, giving early insight and feedback? Maybe even just as a reward to súper fans or content creators? Would be really interested in this.
There is Monzo labs, but other than that I think it’s invite only and a random selection of users

It would also ruin the announcement. I wouldn’t want to work for months on something and then just post some details of what can’t be offered at the moment. Better to wait until they can properly launch and do it right.
Sounds like key part of the premium proposition was built around travellers. I’d suggest you also think about the requirements of young families. Families have a load of unique requirements that would benefit from a plus package. For example virtual cards for each family member so that you can track spend on each child. Also budgeting for a small family much more complex than for an individual. Whereas many companies have focused on premium accounts for travellers I’m not aware of any premium accounts that are targeted at families and their specific requirements.
Nationwide’s FlexPlus, the most widely touted packaged bank account, is very family focused with the insurance covering the whole family, not just the individual account holder.
Sure they include a number of insurance products that include the family members but the actual features of the account aren’t targeted to the usage requirements of a family e.g. allowing budgeting by different members of the family. That’s more what I was referring to. Lots of people sell insurance products for families - I’m really talking about a set of banking features which I think would be unique.

What would help is interest on the balances you hold cause that would be nice though want cover what you pay obviously but along with other things to make life better then yes it would help I have bunq the offer mass interest but you must pay out at least 7.99 euros min to use them but I’m happy and hope monzo gets even better for me too
Hi, I have been totally out of the loop with all this! I’m still a Plus member from the first launch! Now I hear that you are relaunching. I personally haven’t heard anything about this, if I wasn’t a member of this community I would not have a clue. What is going on? I’m still paying £3 per month. Is this the same membership? Will I automatically be transferred to the new Plus membership as I’m still a member of the original Plus? Thanks for your help!
There is the new plus and premium accounts coming soon.
It was due to be launched a few weeks back however the covid 19 situation has delayed this for now.
As far as i am aware there is no official information on these accounts yet from Monzo on how they will work and whats included. The only info is from what is found on this thread and here: Monzo for Android - Teardowns & Deep Dives 👨💻
It has been delayed due to COVID, I believe it is ready to launch but they are holding off.
I think with old Plus you will have the option to sign up to the new one at a discount or wait for yours to expire instead
