True. But I should not have to be a member of a forum to find this stuff out. There are many people who don’t use this forum and probably have Plus and are none the wiser. There should have been an email or even better seeing as this is an app only bank, an in app message to inform Plus members of what is going on!

According to this and other threads, a lot has been going on.
That is fair enough, I just wish I had some update, in app, to let me know something was at least happening with the Plus account that I’m still paying for. Thank you for the information though, much appreciated.

I’m betting on next year now, can only assume must the benefits of plus are all offers that no one can use until normality returns, if they exist at all anymore.

Whenever people start travelling abroad again in large numbers, would be my guess.
I suppose Monzo could make a guesstimate as to when this might be by looking at flight bookings being paid for.
Ideally it wants to be just before mass tourism restarts, as when flights are booked folk will be booking insurance and if they take a multi trip policy plus may lose some attractiveness for a year
I think you’ve got to rememeber some of the perks look to be things like restaurant discounts etc too so it’s not just travel that has to get back to normal.
I’m sure there are plenty of perks that we’ve not heard about too.
I for one am really interested in the “advanced budgeting” features which are needed now more than ever but only Monzo who have all the detail can accurately decide on when is best.
I feel like the longer they wait also the more of a foot up starling will have to make “spaces” be considered as their own little budget with a feed, pay from a selected space etc.
With it being slightly over a month since all this hullabaloo started will we be getting an update in regards to the new potential roll out plan soon?
Why would Monzo give an update if there’s nothing to update?
We’ve been through the process of people on the forum demanding updates when there’s nothing to say, simply because “it’s been a few weeks and we’ve heard nothing” and the response back from Monzo veered into the embarrassingly inane to say the least.
Plus is built. You’ll get to hear about it when it’s launched.
Unlikely in the extreme I’d say.
Most of us don’t know what’s happening next week let alone any further in the future. I doubt Monzo knows any different to the rest of us what’s going on in the wider world so what would they build a plan around?
I struggle to see why they can’t launch the budget feature version.
I don’t buy the argument that people will be annoyed because they may have lost their job, be struggling etc. For example Netflix subscriptions has boomed (granted it’s for entertainment, not banking). There are adverts everywhere all of the time (tv, radio etc) for countless other products.

In my eyes monzo plus was what everything was gearing up to, its been a month of lockdown and im sure they have more of an idea on what theyll do next with it.
Whether or not they want to share that with us is up to them, no harm in asking though is there?
