Tags for pot payments in/out

Issue: When creating a tag for a withdrawal from a pot to main balance, the corresponding entry in the transactions feed does not have the tag. Similarly, if I tag the entry in transactions, the withdrawal entry in the pot remains untagged. Both entries should be linked; a tag in one should create the same tag in the other

It used to work like this. But then pots were split out into their own sections in a bank statement so that transfers between accounts & pots could be accounted for properly. At this point the note of the outgoing transaction stopped being carried through to the incoming transaction. This may have been a regulatory issue.

Hi, I came here to report this bug too.

I appreciate if it is regulatory then you can’t fix it. BUT could you put a note onto the screen where the tag is applied to tell users it won’t reflect in other locations? Or could you ask if the users wanted it to appear in both places (like a payment reference does when making a transfer to a different account)

Personally, I just remember to put notes into the relevant transactions where needed.
