I’ve use both iOS and Android. For me, they both have their good and bad points.
Android really is king when it comes to customisation , I love icon packs, changing your launcher and the ability of control WiFi etc via the pull down list is much better.
Apple’s interface is very clear but somewhat dull. It’s the tile game and they really need to improve that. However the thought that goes into apple’s UI is much better than Android and it’s easy and ability to connect with other apple products is nearly always faultless.
If you want to migrate use Google drive or one drive or something similar to remove the reliance on iCloud, since these will work on both and PC’s and Mac’s.
There are plenty of messaging tools and video chat tools that work on both, so there is no need to miss out. Agreed iMessage is very good but is it worth the cost difference?
My only issue between the two is watches, I’ve tried Samsung and Apple watches and the Apple watch is still king for me.
