Honestly, I think I should probably just start looking for an alternative, it’s not something they’ll fix anytime soon. I’ve tried Emma before but I wasn’t too keen but I’ll probably just have to get used to it, it’s their only job so hopefully they’re doing it better than Monzo.
It’s a bit of a pain as it’s a big reason I pay for Max. If I cancel Max I’ll lose my interest and savings bonuses so I’ll have to find new homes for my savings and investments
On the Pending transaction, change it’s category to the ‘Pending’ custom category
In Trends, exclude the ‘Pending’ category
When the transaction actually posts, change the category from the custom ‘Pending’ to another preferred category - one that is included in Trends
It’s the second step I’m not sure about - can you change the category of a Pending transaction?
If you can, the above workflow will exclude pending transactions in connected accounts until they are posted - theoretically giving you accurate reports.
