Of course, if they are going to launch a credit card, now would be a good time leading up to Christmas
In Monzo speak:
It’s no different to the answers that anyone gets when they want a feature, bill pot, credit card, loan etc.
Think that’s been the answer for 2 years now
As I understand it there is a Starling business credit card product in testing at the moment. Being that LinkedIn is primarily a business platform perhaps that’s why the response was a little less vague than when someone randomly asks on Twitter; at least there is actually a business product on the way, rather than just something in the strategic plan but not actively being worked on today. Seems like a good plan to start with business, get everything worked out with a smaller section of your customer base, then you can tweak the offering and once you know everything works exactly how it should and it’s the right moment then launch the personal product.
Ooh, could you enl8n enlighten us please? This is new to me!
I’ve never seen someone spell enlighten with an 8 before
Argh, sorry dodgy keyboard… Fixing!
I couldn’t recall where I’d seen it, but luckily enough when I found the article it had already been posted in this thread. You commented on it yourself previously when the link was posted in July.
The comment after the Alt-Fi link is actually yours reacting to it. Perhaps you were so excited about them having their own card processor that you forgot entirely the previous sentence.
Memory loss and dodgy keyboard all at once. Life gives us many challenges, some more than others.
Such a shame. Glad you’re doing well, though. Always appreciate your well reasoned contributions.
I had to give up my multilingual keyboard for that very reason.
I suppose folks who live in, say France, but forum in English would have similar issues!
Did you just use “forum” as a verb?
God Heather, you are so frauded.
had to make a high value transaction recently and the process was quite interesting (previously you had to contact them to get transaction limits raised)
now the process involves making the transaction, and then the app presents you with a series of questions and asks you to upload some documents, and then they “withhold” the payment for further review.
After about 30 minutes - 1 hour the transaction went through, quite impressed!
They do indeed. It’s still the 0.05% AER on up to £85k (still no options for savings accounts!)
Strange - last week I had payments to both Milk and More on Thursday and the National Lottery on Friday and both showed up correctly?
Hopefully it’s just a short term bug.
Any screenshots of how it looks?
