yeah …it will be a teal tag with " I dont like public forums for my customers so I joined the Monzo forum " l o l
no reason at all … looks nicer maybe in my mind …
sorry to disappoint …arggggggghhhhhhhh, I think I used that typeface for my signature trying to get in to PIPs in Manchester 1974

It be one of them dopes of the discord channel no doubt
Discord channel?
Do we think Starling will end up with a bills pot feature?
From all I can see so far they are pushing having a second account for that. If they came up with a bills pot then that potentially harms any income they have from people with second accounts.
Yes, so it looks like they are sticking with the second account for now and seeing how it goes.
If there is big demand for it still then they probably will add “Pay from Goals” as a feature, eventually.
That’s my complete guess anyway!
I do not see Starling copying Monzo and providing a free Pay bills from Spaces.
They will rely on people forking out £2pm for the second account imo.
Yeah that was my feeling with it given its what they talk about when promoting that account.
The confusion lies in the fact when asked they do generally say it’s been worked on. But is that just a ploy to keep people quiet a bit longer
Well, I’ve been talking to them on twitter quite extensively and it is confirmed that they are working on something but as yet, for obvious reasons, are not saying what but all i can understand is that it is some kind of pots/jars/envelopes kind of feature.
They already have that. It’s called Goals or Spaces depending on how old you are.
I really don’t see that working well for them. Why would you pay for a second account when every other bank gives you a second account for free
Agreed Peter but they are adding features to it for payments.
That’s why I think they will have to come around eventually!
For the time being, getting the “Starling loyal” to pay the fee is not going to hurt them much.
Also, it’s not quite true that every bank lets you have a second identical account for free. Lots of banks place limits on accounts (second must be joint, or not of the same type).
As a total random example, Lloyds will only allow one sole Club Lloyds account and a second sole account must be a basic Classic account.
Other than the 1.5% interest there is no real benefit to having more than one Club Lloyds account even if they allowed it.
I will admit it was a slightly sweeping statement but in general most banks will let you have a 2nd bank account if you apply.
Yeah, I agree with you!
The £125 switching bonus was the only real benefit I found to having any club Lloyds accounts
Not that bad overall then, all things considered!
