Virtual cards seem kinda neat, although for me personally it’s a limited use case, I don’t really use my debit card for much so it wouldn’t bring that much benefit.
It’s pretty much useless for me until it’s on their Business Accounts (which I hope it will be soon!)
Flow to create a virtual card in my Starling app is now live.
The colour/symbol combination is fixed.
Ooh. Can you edit an existing space to add a virtual card to it now or do you need to create a new space specifically for it? (can I edit my exist ‘Bills’ space that all my DDI come out and add the virtual card to include my card subs as well?)
I only just noticed it on mine today when I wanted to edit a Space. I’d assumed it would be at the top level of the Spaces tab.
Same for me. I might have at least got some use if it was for Joint Accounts.
Will keep waiting for a real credit card with virtual cards support.
Rolled out over the next week according to response I got on Twitter.
All just a case of where you are on the list as to when it’ll be activated. Judging by how long I had to wait for the graphs in the spending tab, I’ll be one of the last to get it. ![]()
I think I had graphs pretty soon after implantation so hopefully this shows up soon. I’ve already got my spaces reorganised ready.
Still nothing here
If you select one of your Spaces and then Manage Space, does it have an option to create a virtual card?
I could do this before I received an official notification in the Card tab that VCs were available.
No not showing in the manage spaces tab notice the pay bills option has moved up ready for it tho
Android will be the last to get it, unless someone on android already has?
Ah, fairs. Wonder what process they use to rollout then. Age of account maybe? Mine was only opened this year, but then I feel I’ve had some things before older users.
Who knows.
Thought they said the virtual cards couldn’t be used for gambling or did I misread that?
They can’t be used for gambling.
So that accumulator isn’t classed as gambling?
