Don’t they normally come with % fees though?

Does Barclaycard do that?

There’s only one time I saw a no fee Money transfer offer, don’t even remember the lender.

I have seen them do balance transfer offers on existing card but with a fee. The shirt time I was with them I didn’t see any money transfer offer.

Do you think they’ll close the Edge credit card? I have the £3 per month version and with cashback on all spend, including abroad, it works well for me. I’ve wondered for a while how long it will be available for.

I thought the same and even the links I had to the Edge card now go to the main credit card page. In general given the history with 1-2-3 accounts they will probably keep it as a product, but just not promote it, if you close you lose it if you see what I mean

I’ve still got the Zero card and 1-2-3 current account. They don’t seem to be in a hurry to get people off old products.

100%, I learnt a long time ago in software that if you force people to upgrade, they tend to use it as an opportunity to shop around, I think Santander think the same

I had a 123 Lite account which I believe was a quid per month and got me 1% cashback on my mortgage payments.

They dumped me off it a year or two back, so it’s definitely happening.

I think the original 123 account remains, but it was eroded over the years such that it became worse and worse value for money. I changed mine to the Lite account, which at the time became the more sensible choice. But, like you say, we were taken off that and moved to the bog standard Everyday account. I switched away after having used Santander for all DDs for 10+ years.

The 1% cashback thing sounds great, but in reality I suspect most people don’t make much from it. If I went for an Edge account I’d make around £4.10 a month, but minus the £3 fee, it’s really not worth it.

I can get £6 a month, which still isn’t worth the hassle versus for me. I also had all my DDs going through Santander for many years. If I didn’t have the mortgage, I’d just close the account now.

Anyone done a cash ISA transfer recently with the eVoucher offer?
I did one last month and it is now beyond 30 days from the transfer, but heard nothing about the voucher.

“You’ll receive your code and PIN to redeem your e-voucher within 30 days of your transfer completing”

First attempt to transfer failed as I’d apparently given incorrect details (I hadn’t as I had a screenshot of the form). Resubmitted with the exact same details and transferred fine, and still within the time limits of the offer. Typical Santander, as usual.

Mine arrived within a few days of the transfer completing. (Unlike the ones I’m still waiting for that come with current account and credit card openings.)

Thanks. I’ll get onto them later. I can’t see how I wouldn’t have qualified - transfer requested within 14 days of opening, full transfer, offer was still running etc.

Did you move the credit limits where possible and close the smaller limits down or just streamline your available credits all together?

(Sorry if I’m asking too much, just find your overall banking games intriguing.)

No I didn’t. I just happen to be accepted for higher limits these days.
I closed the accounts altogether since there were no more introductory offers.
It is only the two Lloyds cards that I keep, due to their flexibility of switching to other products even with introductory offers.

The rest I close and find an alternative with new introductory offers, offer ends and I walk away.

I have no use keeping a card because of the limits if it has no benefits attached. My two Lloyds cards have over £20k, that is way more than I need at any single time.

Pretty sure the Add to Apple Pay button is new in the app (and fills a very necessary gap). It’s there for my debit card too but behind the three dots menu.

I just had an app notification of a credit card refund payment. Have they finally introduced app notifications for payments too? :crossed_fingers:

No.

Refunds have always been available as notifications.

Has anybody got the new rewards card yet? It seems a good proposition.

Could it be better than the discontinued Santander Zero card?
