Are the accounts definitely closed or just not visible in the app?
I like that guy, it’s pretty much my approach, even if there is a cock up…
Do you reckon there’s some sort of queue for manual closures? Possibly, someone DID add a note on or something to notate that it wasn’t to be closed, and then they did it anyway through not looking? That’s how it’d happen at current employer, in fact there is advice in places that even if you request it to not be closed, it’ll still be closed
Was more just thinking app responses to processes but main system having ability to cancel out the cancellation.
Given the above, it sounds like it’s done what it meant to.
I just got approved the Reward Black CC, wondering anyone has it lately, it still giving you the old design? How it looks like in Apple Wallet
I want the old design, do you mind post a picture of Apple wallet of it
Nice kid! Shame it’s not your kid…
My standard Mastercard shows the beach hut in app but it’s purple physical.
Does anyone know, if I set a standing order 31st July, will it then do it on the last day every month ie come September so it 30th? To maintain it to payday?
Ignore, just realised RBS doesn’t do SO on weekends
Omg this looks amazing, I hope I will get the old design as well.
Finger cross
I was trying to work out if I’m paid last working day of the month, will my spending money move to my spend card on that same day.
Looks like it’ll just be a manual job.
Scarily, we spend around that in the supermarket over the course of a year
Crikey, I’d be surprised if I spend half that in supermarkets tbh
Currently still holding this account🫠 not really useful tbh
When you’ve four to feed, you’re not long spending crazy money in the supermarket
I like the 8 pound movie benifit
They are not standing orders if they are being made on a weekend
A pre scheduled faster payment is a standing order.
Monzo and Starling, maybe even revolut, allow payments to be made by SO at weekends.
Unlike direct debits, it’s not mandated to be made on a week day, and doesn’t require any business services to work.
Direct debits could in theory also work the same way, it’s just an instruction for the bank to pay the merchant to their bank with an amount and on a day they choose - there’s nothing different about it (sort code, account number, reference to allocate) it’s just the way banks have always worked.
