It’s funny because in Midland days they were one of the most innovative with branch design, banking automation and so on.

Much better to at least try for best in category as none are great across the board. Chase suits me well for banking but Nutmeg just isn’t for me at all.

None of them will downgrade you immediately (or ever, apparently).
But NWG will autocheck the salary again every time you make a change to the account. E.g. try to upgrade from premier rewards to premier black (even though technically you’re not changing premier status).
Is that same with the savings criteria way into premier do you know please? Thanks
Yes, they’ll auto recheck those.
They did that with my Coutts account to check I still had the same level of borrowing which made me eligible for the banking service.

I don’t think Coutts is exactly the golden standard for everyday banking.
I have accounts that still retain status after having stopped paying in since 2021. No change to benefits either.

Are the accounts definitely closed or just not visible in the app?
Was more just thinking app responses to processes but main system having ability to cancel out the cancellation.
Given the above, it sounds like it’s done what it meant to.

My standard Mastercard shows the beach hut in app but it’s purple physical.
