Day 2 morning I could add to Apple Pay

Open a bills account and have them all come from the same one? That’ll have its own card too for any card subs required.

I have 4 accounts with RBS now.
Student Account
Holts
Drummonds
Child & Co
I spoke to my dad. He wrote into Holts and then went into the branch and said that I am allowed to have a account if i want. I said yes, RBS asked me a few questions in branch and then I was told to wait 7 days and the account will be active and in 14 days the card and pin will arrive.
They asked my dad alot of questions about his term in the Air Force. Everything from Service Number to former commanding officer of this squadron. It was alot!
I’m guessing that grandad is too far as a fairly chunky proportion of the population would have grandads in WW2 or WW1.

You get invited into the branch like we did!
But their Natwest / RBS / Ulster Branch whatever is your nearest i guess!
So appropriate family member needs to write to Holt’s as a first step then actually go into the Holt’s branch as the second step? I take it that you have to go to the Holt’s branch itself rather than a NatWest/Ulster/RBS one?
No, we didn’t go to the Holt’s Branch was just done in are local Natwest Branch in London.
But all of the documents my father signed where official with “Holts” on it.
The guy we spoke to said about having to submit these documents and they get checked by the MOD

Did you deposit £1,250 in one lump or did you make multiple deposits? I put £650 across but have just moved £500 back out. I’m wondering if I put £600 back in a few days if that will still count 
So your father didn’t need to open an account himself to enable you to open one?
No he did!
I’ll have to work on the OH for a bit then. She’s not one for opening accounts.

Yes, it’s been in there since last week after the card became available in Apple Pay.
2 years? People in the recent threads aren’t even keeping their accounts open for 2 hours

To be fair, I do frequently only keep some accounts open for a short time when switching for money/card designs, but I think I’m pretty happy with the three I have at the moment so could see myself keeping RBS for more than 2 years easily
