Same process as RBS. If needed to provide ID docs and then the account is open.
I did not have to supply ID, they hard searched me then reversed it.
You will need to select a branch in Northern Ireland. I selected Belfast City.
Account was opened in 2 days.
Yeah, they use Hooyu - but it’s an identical form to the ‘old’ RBS one.
I did receive a letter in the post about the application explaining to sign the form etc but it says if you’ve completed this online you can ignore the letter. I received a text saying the account was open before letter.
I guess the letter helps those who cannot or would prefer not to upload but instead visit a branch.

You could try but in their terms is:
You won’t be eligible to earn £200 if you’ve taken advantage of a cash switcher offer from NatWest,
Royal Bank of Scotland plc or Ulster Bank since 1 January 2020.
They seem to be the ugly duckling compared to the parity between NatWest / RBS platform and onboarding experience.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they paid by accident in not checking for a very recent payout from NatWest / RBS.
Previously they balls-up the terms that meant it was a loop hole to claim £600 total. Unfortunately they didn’t do that again.

Yup just that, as long as your details match exactly, they’ll just run a search on you and then hopefully reverse it. It’s what they did for me.

Ulster Bank so annoying, keep asking me take my passport to the branch for verify, but I applied online Jesus, looks like this is their new “old form” normal
Are you able to use a driving licence, covers both aspects of address and ID?
my driving licence is the P one, I only have British passport at the moment…they said I dont have a visa over 6 months in the country 
Does it specify that it has to be full driving licence?
Provisional license is fine.
it’s great that you don’t have to think about ‘activating’ the offer, this is how it should be.

the problem is they don’t allow me upload any docs online, only bring them to Natwest branchs…
Oh interesting, I guess that’s going to be your only solution then.

Interesting, the letter I received said you can visit any NatWest, RBS or Ulster branch.
