I’m pretty sure it’s always the most recent one isn’t it? The regular form opened a C&C for me when that was my most recent one.

I opened my standard one with the Mayfair sort code, now I think I need to do one here :star_struck:

Wow that’s a beautiful bank! Back when banks really were focal parts of communities (poor or rich) and built really good buildings.

Half the best buildings in my little Cumbrian town were old banks - all no longer used.

I applied Friday, received welcome email Monday and from then I was able to sign up to online banking.

Nope, I skipped that part I’m sure. Customer number/acc number/sort code was sufficient in the sign up to online banking process. Give it a go.

Edit: I did it on the NatWest desktop site.

I applied on Wednesday. Asked to upload documents on Thursday. Account approved on Friday (no Customer Number on the email). Got my Customer Number on Sunday. Kept saying that was not enough to register for online banking, so got my sort code and account after calling and signed up to online banking with those instead.
