While in the branch there was an advert on one of their tvs showing a gold card that is a business credit card. Anyone seen one before?
Careful - some are triggered by that phrase, as I found out last year when I dared to criticise one of the obsolete RBS brands

I remember the fall of RBS.
I remember as my dad was a share holder in RBS and he was stressing about losing alot of money as the Share Price fell from almost £50 a share to 50p a share.
Both of my parents where members of RBS Private at the time and ended up going to the branch and taking out a very large chunk of their savings and then putting it in Barclays Premier.
They both kept their account open and my dad still holds some shares in Natwest Group to this day but I think after the fall of RBS my parents don’t trust the Natwest Group much anymore.

It doesn’t. I had it bookmarked as I wanted an account but was in the process of getting a mortgage and didn’t want any hard searches between mortgage offer and completion so had to wait.
It just says “carrying out maintenance”.

Seriously though that’s kinda sad that they’re not longer giving out these accounts. At least I won’t feel bad about getting a standard RBS account though. Might leave it a few days though and see if maybe the form goes back online.

100% not, pretty sure nobody was supposed to be opening them even from the old link.

It’s sad that it ended up so out in the open with people opening and closing them all the time. I’m sure it would still be with us if it wasn’t for so many applications.

Yeah the link to the old form was found using the Wayback Machine by a few people on this forum.
So I think the form was never meant to be used. I know that some people when using the form had issues getting access to the App and getting cards issued. So I think it was never meant to be used.
But with the popularity of the form over the last year or so I think RBS noticed and have shut down the form for good.

Not necessarily. Jo is under 18 and I think it only ever worked for 18+ current accounts.
Nah, N26throwawaye got me a Revolve link that worked. I just never got around to opening the account.
Got that a couple of days ago. Don’t think I would have been a fan of the change.

To be fair you can all ready reorder accounts and rename them, so im not sure what else is changing.
