It is correct. Staff have accounts, as stated in the latest Monzo journal!
Emojiâs speak a thousand words
I have always wondered, seriously, are employees encouraged to use emojis as much as possible?
investors should come first
Staff will always come first.
Staff should come first
Not only that but 3 months from 21st April is 21st July⌠so they have a week yet
Also small numbers of people could be anyone i.e. staff and close family members
Not as much as possible but it does help.
Cool, always interesting to know these things.
People who can spell should be prioritised.
But wot if spill lyk dis dough?
My letterbox is perfect debit card size you know.
Thatâs a tiny letterbox.
Itâs best to ignore the timescales on the roadmap. They are a rough guage of intent and tend not to match reality.
To be honest I think one thing Monzo are terrible at is managing user expectations.
Would love to hear more about this, especially specifics? Thanks!
Itâs basically a case of over promising and under delivering. Itâs something which most businesses (at least in the industry in which I work) are guilty of.
The issue is mostly in relation to the timing of features for the android app to be honest.
Some specifics:
- I was told 39 weeks ago by in app support that merchant feedback would be coming to android âsoonâ. It still seems to be missing.
- Similarly, I was told 40 weeks ago that API generated feed items actually appearing in my feed was âcoming soon, so get excitedâ. The get excited bit sort of implies that itâs imminent. I have API generated low balance items firing fairly regularly and my feed contains none.
- Android pulse graph was added to the ânext 3 monthsâ card on the roadmap, then 4 months later it was moved to 6 - 9 months. Itâs actually been 10 months since that card was added. Merchant crowd sourced feedback had similar timing, I think.
Overall there seems to be a trend of âandroid will catch up to iOS soonâ. The narrative makes us think that itâll be a matter of weeks, but it just isnât the case.
Although those features havenât been delivered yet, others have instead -
