Personally I’m more annoyed at the placement, rather than it’s existance in the Account tab. I think it would be better positioned after “Pots”.

I agree. I would not have had a single issue if it was at the bottom of the page. It’s just the location between pots and my account I didn’t like.
I contacted chat who have removed it from my app. I would not have done that if it was at the bottom of the page. I have never in the middle of a page on another bank had a permanent advert for overdraft/loan. I have got messages, and have seen pop ups (not every time). But usually the loan and overdraft has been its own page.
Monzo has a great customer service, and I am grateful they have removed it from me.

There should be an option to hide advertising for loans and overdrafts. The Barclays app has annoyed me no-end for years because it’s always shoving it in my face. I’ve put up with the overdraft advertising for some time with Monzo, but loans? Right on the accounts page? Like it’s a Pot? Seriously, I’m not interested. The pages are getting very cluttered too.

I contacted support and asked for the banner to be removed. They did this (although it turned off all lending features). I can contact them to turn it on again if I need it.
I have an overdraft and I have no intention of getting a loan right now. If I could just dismiss it to somewhere less obvious, I’d be happy with that. Turning off all lending functions would mean I can’t manage (or lose entirely) my overdraft.

For me, this isn’t a concern. I don’t have an overdraft. I understand that for others the decision isn’t so simple.
On the topic of overdrafts, i looked at reducing my overdraft recently and noticed it’s no longer possible to have only the £20 free overdraft (Assuming I didn’t imagine that when I got it). Minimum is £50 now 
You can’t set it to £0 (which I think encompasses the free £20).
Setting to zero removes overdraft entirely, making the £20 “buffer” inaccessible except through offline transactions.
