As someone who has recently used both the iOS app and the Android app, I think the delay to bringing pot sorting and hiding to iOS might have been due to a great amount of work required to speed up the iOS app.
The iOS app was much, much slower than the Android app in my experience.
Excellent news - the hidden pots is fantastic. When the “Lock Pot” function became extremely easy to “unlock”, I have been missing a way to stop me from spending when trying to save.
It’d be even better if hidden pots were further hidden from the Edit pots menu - being made to select a “Show Hidden Pots” option. From my day to day usage of Monzo, I can imagine me re-ordering pots regularly as my needs change, but always being reminded that I have hidden pots with money in them every time I re-order my pots would entice me to Unhide --> Withdraw --> Bingo!
Options are working fine once enabled, but again had that past issue in the Monzo Labs where selecting a toggle does not actually switch it until reopening the page (i.e. still showed off, but had switched on)
Hide Pots did not have that issue, but Sort Pots did, if that helps
EDIT: Upon further tinkering, you can hide pots if you have only ‘Hide pots’ enabled. But you cannot sort pots unless you have both ‘Sort’ and ‘Hide’ pots enabled. This seems like a UX bug - I wouldn’t expect to have to enable ‘Hide pots’ if I simply wanted the ability to sort them?
Other than that, the feature works really well. Easy to understand and access, and the order of the cards (or the ability to see or hide the cards) changes instantly in the Home screen to match what you’ve just done in the sort/hide pots edit display.
