I have recently made 2 one off bank transfers and have failed to give a reference, because the box isn’t highlighted and no prompt is given.
Luckily it hasn’t been too much of an issue for either of these payments, I am concerned that it could have caused a real problem.
You have created lots of steps and checks to verify account details, but no check on references, which can be critical when paying a large business or organisation.
Please can you consider including a prompt for a reference number, especially for first time or one off payments.
