I never really understood the point of PayM. I though it was just a misplacement of focus and a distraction from making regular peer to peer transfers easier. It doesn’t help that the implementation and the role it plays is confusing.
Ping it as a service, or just cash app are better at doing the task I imagine they were intended for. But instead payM is just a different way of doing a bank transfer, without really being any better.
I imagine if banks weren’t so arduous with the steps required to jump through to send a simple bank transfer, PayM never would have needed to exist.
